Performance and profitability remains in line with expectations
Kustom BidCo AB, including its wholly owned subsidiary Kustom AB, reports a first quarter with revenue and profitability in line with expectations.
The migration to Kustom’s upgraded platform is progressing ahead of schedule, and new products and features have been well received by the market.
Net revenue amounted to SEK 302.9m, operating profit totaled SEK 52.0m, and net income for the period was SEK 2.1m.
During the quarter, Kustom announced “Kustom Mobile Point of Sale” (Mobile POS), a solution that enables merchants to accept in-store payments directly via smartphone. The product marks an important first step in Kustom’s long-term omnichannel strategy, addressing a clear demand to consolidate physical and digital sales into a unified system.
Merchant acquisition remains stable. Around 500 new transacting merchants joined the platform during the quarter, including well-known brands such as Mizuno and Koenigsegg. Several key customer contracts were renewed, including Coop and the Varner Group (home to brands like Dressmann, Cubus, and Bikbok).
Concluding the first six months of our build-up phase, we are now seeing tangible results, both in terms of organizational development and the evolution of our independent platform. Existing clients and new merchants alike continue to show strong confidence and engagement in Kustom’s ongoing journey.
