Supplementary terms for enabling PayPal
These Terms set out the Gateway Fee applicable to PayPal as a Payment Method within the Checkout Solution. Upon your acceptance, these Terms shall be incorporated into, and form part of, your Agreement with Kustom for the provision of the Checkout Solution.
1. Gateway Fee
The "Gateway Fee" is a fee payable by the Merchant for enabling PayPal as a Payment Method within the Checkout Solution, calculated as a Variable Fee (as defined in Section 7.1 of the General Terms and Conditions) of 0.50% of the transaction amount for each Payment Transaction processed via PayPal. The Gateway Fee applies from the date PayPal is enabled as a Payment Method within the Merchant's Checkout Solution.
The Gateway Fee is charged by Kustom in its capacity as provider of the Checkout Solution, and is in addition to any other Service Charges payable by the merchant to Kustom under the Merchant Agreement. The Gateway Fee is separate from, and additional to, any fee, charge, or amount that PayPal charges the Merchant directly for processing PayPal transactions under the Merchant's own agreement with PayPal.
The Gateway Fee is invoiced and settled through the same Settlements reporting as the Merchant's other Service Charges.
2. General Provisions
- These Terms should be read together with, and are subject to, the Merchant Agreement. Except as otherwise defined in these Terms, capitalized terms used in these Terms have the meaning given to them in the Agreement.
- Kustom may update these Terms from time to time in accordance with Section 18 (Amendments) of the Merchant Agreement, on sixty (60) days' prior Notice to you.
By clicking Connect, or otherwise accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, and that they form part of the Agreement between you and Kustom.
