Kustom BidCo AB (publ) publishes interim report for the first quarter of 2026
Kustom BidCo AB (publ) ("Kustom" or the "Company") hereby publishes its interim report for the first quarter of 2026. The report is available on the Company’s website: https://kustom.co/investors. Below is a summary of the contents.
Strong momentum and volume growth in March
The Kustom BidCo AB Group, including its wholly owned subsidiary Kustom AB, reports a first quarter in which the Company’s upgraded platform, expanded offering and strategic partnerships are beginning to deliver clear results.
Kustom’s first quarter of 2026 marks a shift in the Company’s development, with clear momentum both in new agreements and in the number of merchants starting to use the platform for the first time. In March volumes grew compared with the same month last year. This development reflects new merchants, expanded partnerships and the fact that a large number of already signed agreements are now translating into actual business.
During the quarter, more than 400 new merchants started using Kustom’s platform, including Matsmart, Forenom, J Spec and Pouch Point. In addition, Chimi and Sweef chose to expand their partnerships with the Company.
Net sales amounted to SEK 274.6 million, operating profit to SEK 14.4 million, and profit for the period after depreciation and financial expenses to SEK -32.0 million.
“Volume growth is a clear sign that the investments we have made in our upgraded platform, expanded offering and strategic partnerships are beginning to pay off. We are seeing an inflow of new merchants, while also growing with existing merchants internationally. I am particularly proud that we have been able to implement so many improvements in such a short period of time, and we are well positioned for net sales growth during the year,” says Kamjar Hajabdolahi, CEO of Kustom BidCo AB.
During the quarter, Kustom launched several new features and product improvements. Insight Dashboards give merchants access to actionable business insights directly in the merchant portal, while Elements makes it possible to integrate payment methods, shipping options and Express Checkout directly on the merchant’s product page. The Company’s first product for physical retail, Mobile Point of Sale, has also been rolled out broadly in the Swedish market. In addition, several new global and local payment methods were added, including PayPal, MB Way, P24 and EPS.
Kustom is also seeing a geographical expansion of its business, with existing merchants expanding into new markets, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and Poland, through Kustom’s platform.
During the quarter, Kustom announced a directed share issue and entered into a strategic partnership with Resurs Bank, adding new revenue streams. The partnership means that merchants will be offered Resurs Bank’s business loan products and B2B invoice in Kustom’s checkout. At the same time, Resurs will be able to offer its merchants a checkout based on Kustom’s infrastructure.
Proceeds from the directed share issue were used to acquire Vipps MobilePay Checkout’s customer contracts. At the same time, Kustom entered into a distribution partnership with Vipps MobilePay, the provider of the largest digital wallet in the Nordics, under which Kustom becomes the recommended checkout solution for the payment method. This further strengthens Kustom’s Nordic position and is expected to have a positive impact on Kustom’s operating profit from the second quarter of 2026.
