
Matsmart chooses Kustom – new checkout in six countries
Matsmart, one of the Nordic region's largest players in sustainable e-commerce, is choosing Kustom as its new checkout partner. The collaboration covers six markets – Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – and is set to launch in early 2026.
With Kustom, Matsmart gains a complete and scalable checkout solution that simplifies operations and strengthens the customer experience across the company's regions. Sweden is currently the company's largest market, followed by Germany. With a recent launch in Switzerland and continued establishment in the DACH region, Matsmart requires a checkout that can handle both local customization and growth.
From day one, Matsmart has challenged the grocery retail sector by selling surplus goods online. The switch to Kustom is a strategic step to reduce complexity and create a smoother buying experience.
